All Wild Surveys staff are fully qualified tree climbers to NPTC CS38 – Tree Climing and Aeriel Rescue. This means we can safely climb trees to inspect them for bats, birds and squirrel dreys if required. Several of our tree climbers are also licensed bat surveyors which means we can offer a more targeted survey of trees when it comes to bats.
All of our tree climbing equipment is LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998) inspected every 6 months and we are fully insured also. All certificates can be provided on request.
We also undertake regular training and refresher sessions within Wild Surveys to ensure staff are up to date with current practice.
If you have any trees that need to be inspected as part of a planning application or as a requirement prior to arboricultural works, then please contact us for advice.
